Hey, guys!

A quick update on my job search: no job still. Interviewed with a software and analytics company 2 weeks ago for a remote position. And despite completing the task I was given in 3 days, I was still turned down.

I have sent out a truckload of applications along with my resume, but nothing is happening still. I am remaining positive, though, and will keep hoping for the best.

Any Shiny for Python experts out there? I'm starting to play around with it; I've deployed my app to a DigitalOcean droplet running Shiny Server and pointed /etc/shiny-server/shiny-server.conf to a venv I want to use.

That works like a charm, but I'm wondering if I would be able to use multiple environments in case I wanted different apps to use different package/Python versions. Not a deal-breaker (and honestly I don't have a use case right now, but still...)

#posit #rstats I’m still considering whether to attend posit conference 2024. I’d like to attend the career fair to look for data science related jobs, meanwhile listening some talks. But the ticket is still expensive even for the students, I applied for Opportunity Scholarships but haven’t got any replies from @Posit. I doubt is it worthwhile to spend $1198 on a 3-day conference mainly for the career fair? Can anyone have some experiences of posit give some advice? Really appreciate it @rstats
