SCOOP: Unhinged #potus admin is studying the cost of a #Greenland takeover, long in Trump’s sights despite outrage from Denmark and other allies. Trump is obsessed with Greenland. The cost analysis is being done for Russell Vought, the director of the Office of Management and Budget, by staff in the office’s International Affairs Division.

“The point is, ‘We’ll pay you more than Denmark does.’ Fascist republicans plan to bribe Greenlanders to allow US take over.

The American Action Forum, a right-wing think tank: “Right now, we only have one location where we can monitor what goes on in the North Atlantic, and that’s Iceland. Greenland would give you that plus shipping routes with the polar ice caps receding — that’s a more strategic location,” said Doug Holtz-Eakin, group’s president.

Today In Labor History March 27, 1866: President of the United States of America Andrew Johnson vetoed the Civil Rights Act of 1866. However, Congress overrode his veto and passed the bill, the first time this had occurred over any major legislation. The bill was the first in the U.S. to define citizenship, and to affirm equal rights under the law for all citizens, including African Americans. Johnson’s rationale for the veto was that the law “discriminated” against whites in favor of blacks.

Just learned of a new (to me) moniker for #DiaperDon that's a bit too wordy but it's so appropo that I'm going to use it occasionally from now on anyway.

It seems that in the 90's, #GraysonCarter, who was then the editor of #SpyMagazine and later the editor of #VanityFair, noticed that #Drumpf's hands seems too small for his body size, nicknamed him the #ShortFingeredVularian, which gives more meaning to #MarcoRubio's disparagement of size of the #FatOrangeMan's hands during their campaigns for #POTUS back in 2016.

I just learned this during Gràyson's interview on #TV on #SundayMorning on #CBS this past weekend but it has been mentioned in an article previously.

No Breakthrough Expected Because Putin Doesn't Want Peace

Ceasefire and Black Sea Focus: The US proposed a 30-day ceasefire, including a moratorium on energy infrastructure attacks. Two weeks ago, Ukraine agreed, Putin did not. Skepticism remains over Russia's intentions due to its maximalist demands, including Ukraine abandoning #NATO aspirations. Which is an insane demand as Ukraine is a sovereign nation makes its own security decisions.

Continued attacks highlight the fragility of peace efforts, with Russian airstrikes on Kyiv and Putin's forces daily mass murder of Ukrainians.

TODAY, A Russian missile attack hit a densely-populated district of Ukraine's NE city of Sumy, wounding 88 people, including 17 children.

Putin's ESCALATION has also involved cyberattacks and extensive injuries from missile strikes on Ukrainian civilians.

Talks focus on the grain export agreement, which Russia abandoned. The Black Sea remains a pivotal issue for both nations.

This is meant to show off their disregard for borders and other nations. In fact, the only thing that never ends is Russian barbarism. It was painted in 2020, during the last six months of Trumps presidency, and I did not know if he would be re-elected or if it would even be relevant in a year. But 5 years later it’s more relevant then ever.

In the painting, Trump is the mad hatter from Alice and Wonderland who has invited 3 friends from around the world for some tea and cake, discussing what exactly? Various goods and American mail-in-ballots were spotted.

The painting is referencing one of my favourite painters of all time, Manet, and his work “Le dejeuner sur l’herbe” (1863).

It was painted by free hand, without underpainting, sketches, grids or projector, a messy, complicated, uncontrollable yet fun way of painting, that I could never have done today. But I can enjoy looking back at the steps of my painting-journey!

It was exhibited at @hostutstillingen 2022 💖

Remember this when you negotiate with a war criminal.

Russians murdered and raped children. Shot civilians at crossings. Bombed people waiting in line for bread. Wiped out entire families—parents and children together. Beheaded prisoners of war. And committed countless other atrocities. There are hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian children held captive in Russia, Putin claims he has 700,000 Ukrainian children.

There can be no deals without justice. No peace without accountability.
