The #supremecourt ruling that gives the #presidents immunity should scare everyone. If you're #democrat or #republican , this would affect any president down the line. One day the other party will be president again. Do you honestly want them with that much power?
An all too common trait of #democracies is they only last as long as people feel they work. Once some #citizens don't get what they want they will dismantle it (or try to) with their enemies in the crosshairs, but what will be the consequences? When #presidents, though they be elected, can run with impunity, what then? If even one person is above the law do we still truly have a #democracy?
I'm no philosopher or political scientist, but what the heck #SCOTUS?
