The driver in the #NewOrleans truck ramming in New Orleans that killed at least 10 people was identified as 42-year-old Shamsud-din Jabbar, a #US citizen from #Texas, according to the #FBI. An ISIS flag and weapons were found in the vehicle.

The #law firm, which is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, says its work “advances the God-given right to live & speak the Truth” & publicly describes itself as “the nation’s largest legal organization committed to protecting religious freedom, free speech, marriage & family, parental rights, & the sanctity of life.” #ADF reported >$100 million in revenue in both 2021 & 2022.

The thing is, there’s a lesser-known organization that’s already been working for decades to reshape America into a #Christian nation—& will keep doing so, regardless of who wins the presidential #election in November. It keeps racking up wins at #SCOTUS: It’s the #AllianceDefendingFreedom, & it may be the country’s most sinister advocacy group that people have never heard of.

If #Trump wins, he can use the #DOJ, including the #FBI, to seek #revenge against his #political enemies—even if, as in the cases above, there is LITTLE or NO #evidence of a #crime. Doing so would go far beyond anything Trump pursued in his 1st term.

There are multiple safeguards in the American #legal system. They largely held when Trump was president.
