So, according to #MyHeritage, I'm 54% #English. Being #Danish and not entirely unaware of our history, I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say that perhaps it's the other way around, you know with the whole #viking thing and all.

I'm also 19% #scandinavian, almost 9% #Baltic and nearly 1% #MiddleEastern. Closest #DNA match was a 5% match. Makes me feel all worldly and unique. And like I've wasted a bunch of money on a DNA test.

This year, shall I put together an illustrated electronic (.epub/ .pdf) Christmas annual of Norwegian folktales and legends that are unknown in English? (I need to get planning already.)

This might be the most #Scandinavian I've ever felt.

Being a heathen who is an introvert, I'd rather spend the holidays in my proverbial cave, chomping on all the stuff I baked over the last couple of days. I don't have any blood relatives in this country, and even if f I did, they don't celebrate #Christmas. But sometimes you have to sacrifice your comfort for your loved one's happiness and spend time with their family over the holidays. I'm only in it for the food and the presents, tbh. It's a trade-off for the bit of sanity I'll lose.

It used to be a target for arson almost every year, but we blessed it with our presence in 2017 and it's never been burned down again since. Just kidding. They increased the security measures that year.
