Ben Waber<p>Next was an extremely informative talk by Roy Want on Wi-Fi positioning and the new IEEE 802.11az protocol. Want clearly explains the evolution of indoor positioning using Wi-FI, how modern methods work, and the new applications that 802.11az (which can run on many existing devices) will enable. Lots of applications for people analytics if implemented ethically. Highly recommend <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdpOYeaHNpw" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">youtube.com/watch?v=sdpOYeaHNp</span><span class="invisible">w</span></a> (7/10) <a href="https://hci.social/tags/sensing" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>sensing</span></a></p>
