Free snowflake knitting patterns to celebrate Snowflake Bentley, the first photographer of snowflakes who passed away Dec. 23, 1931. Wilson Alwyn Bentley invented a process in 1885 that is still used today to capture snowflakes. What he showed us about snowflakes inspired these beautiful knitting patterns.

Working my way through #covid19 Yep I was fully #vaxxed got it anyway. And it wasn't the least bit mild. 3 days of fever over #102. Today 5th just feels like a chest cold. But as any good #gardener would when expecting a week of rain. And having sprouting bulbs arrive monday. I went out and planted over 200 #bulbs on my hands and knees. Mixed #crocus , #iris reticulata Harmony, grape #hyacinth, PurpIe Emperor #allium , and #snowflakes. Still to plant are blue shades #anemone blanda and a few species tulips.
