His perspective was not grounded in abstract political theory; it grew instead from his experience as a Jewish lawyer in Nazi Berlin representing <a href="https://masto.ai/tags/dissidents" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>dissidents</span></a> & other disfavored clients.</p>
