@markmccaughrean Well, this prize showed a collection of all these #TESCREAL fascist bros ("Brin and Zuckerberg as well as Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman"). In this case, is it kowtowing or is it already collaboration?

Does anybody know how the scientific world itself categorises this prize? What significance does it have for serious scientists beyond that Hollywoodesque fuss? @academicchatter

@AkaSci women in these professions, more #womenInSTEM! We had women #astronauts on the ISS who are real scientists - they do much more for girls to like STEM and becoming astronauts!
Please be aware that the NASA had stuff for girls and deleted it for Trump! space.com/space-exploration/na

And therefore, it has a very bitter aftertaste that Trump supporter Bezos is instrumentalizing these women for these billionaires' #TESCREAL ideologies, not for women's best! They fight women on all levels.

@animalculum Unfortunately, it fits perfectly into the concept of the techbros with their #TESCREAL ideologies. They dream of #eugenics to ‘improve’ a "surviving human elite" genetically and with #AI or even #AGI. I would like to see ethical debates in science back (they still existed in my childhood).
At the same time we debate about #invasiceSpecies searching their habitats.
@academicchatter

#Technofeudalists and the perceived #AI threat incongruence

(1/n)

I'm surprised that you as an #AI and #TESCREAL expert See a discrepancy in this. For the morbid and haughty minds of the #Longtermists line #Elon, there is no discrepancy, IMHO:

1) At least since Goebbels, fascists offen acuse others of what they have done or are about to do themselves; or they deflect, flood the zone, etc. That on a tactical/communications strategy level.

2) More...

@Blueteamsherpa When I see that millions spontaneously took to the streets in Germany (84,000,000 inhabitants) because a candidate for chancellor had accepted the votes of the ultra-right for a decision, I've actually been waiting far too long for the crowds in the USA.

This is a part of his #eugenics ideology, and it's you, the non-superrich people of the US, he wants to kill!

@PeachMcD @edsu Yes, but unfortunately, the technical term already exists. He didn't invent it and it's not for clickbait, you can find the link also in his article: populismstudies.org/Vocabulary

If e.g. political scientists want to speak about movements or ideologies, they need technical terms. If people want to resist, it's good to know what it really is and what's different to "fascism & greed" - even if this is part of it. It's similar like talking about #TESCREAL.

In a time when the #TESCREAL (Google it) AI boys are overtly eugenicist, this gets uncomfortably close to judging if not yet engineering humans on genetics without sufficient warning.
