It means that whenever I am feeling stuck in my fitness performance, all I need is an all inclusive resort vacation and some rum. WTL<p>Friday <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Workout" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Workout</span></a>:<br>241 seconds of plank.<br>11 minutes of yoga for runners<br>10 minutes of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training).<br>11 minutes of strength training (AKA shovelling snow).<br>16.2 KM of <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Running" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Running</span></a> (-8°C, -16°C Windchill, 68% humidity, and 27 km/hr wind, gusts to 41 KM/H).</p><p>Quick workouts, shovelled some snow, and a very slippery long run. Just enough new snow coupled with slushy conditions.</p><p>I'm not kidding when I say that the least slippery part of the run was on the Rideau Canal skateway.</p>

Settled on a 15 km distance target, and improvised one, including about 2km of running on the Rideau Canal, which knocked my speed down some. </p><p>Tried to do something interval-y, but I just don't remember and end up cruising along. Maybe my Apple watch has a tool for that? Or an app?</p>
