Just so we're clear: You can take a 20-year old mouse, plug it into your current computer & it works. These things already last forever; I've never seen one expire. What #Logitech wants to do is END this, putting a locking mechanism in your mouse that you have to pay them to not trigger.

@jwcph @pluralistic Maybe I've stepped in the middle ground fallacy here. But this is SO ridiculous it makes me miss the rich bastards of the past, who at least came up with new products or services.
If you're gonna be a capitalist, if you're gonna gobble up hundreds of times the income of people who actually work all day, then take a risk! Bet on something. Don't just swap debt around, rent out necessities, or sell off assets that other people built up. Stop acting like a cancer cell.
