P.S. Please don't @ me to tell me that the Olympic tableau featuring drag queens was not a mockery of popular images of the Last Supper, but a send-up of a Dionysian banquet. I know that there are discussions of this in various places right now. Any halfway informed person knows this.

Not only did he accept invitations to eat at the tables of the impure, he solicited such invitations, leading to taunts that he was a glutton and drunkard.

The guests filled the main hall and I greeted every single one. Nobles, merchants, war heroes - all entered orderly as dictated by decorum.
Alas, my own manners failed - I had forgotten my guests' names. Yet, they didn't mind or didn't show it.
Finally at the end was an uninvited woman. She wasn't a stranger - probably a court mage's apprentice.
She looked me in the eye - something the others avoided and asked with a smile: "So, my lord, how is your funeral?"
