@rysiek

I to zapewnia nam szyfrowanie E2EE.

Auta i noże też pomagają przestępcom.
Władze i organy mają wystarczająco narzędzi, by sobie radzić.

#ProtectEU to ściema. To stary #ChatControl w nowej osłonie. Nie dajcie sobie wciskać kitu.

It's back again, and only slightly disguised! The @EUCommission won't give up on undermining European privacy and security and is again on the #ChatControl campaign. In this sequel, it's not to protect children, but to fight terrorism. But #ProtectEU will not do that either. Tell them NO.

@mullvadnet

Not just #ChatControl.

Can't wait for #Orban, and consequently #Putin, to get hold of this:

»This will enable secure #automated exchanges of #fingerprints, #DNA profiles, #vehicle registration data, #facial images, and police #records through EU routers. At national level, Member States need to implement the Information Exchange Directive enhancing information exchange channels for seamless cross-border information flow, while ensuring their integration with Union-level systems, such as SIENA«

Dear @EUCommission

Please listen to us, the whole collective cybersecurity space, the ones actively protecting our personal, professional and government data everyday when we tell you:

There is no way you can make data available to law enforcement that doesn't - massively - make it much easier for adversaries to access it too.

Anyone who tells you different don't know what they're talking about.

That's all.

MastodonMullvad VPN (@mullvadnet@mastodon.online)The EU initiative Going Dark has now been launched by the EU Commission. They call it ProtectEU. It’s a rebranding of Chat Control. New name. Same old propaganda. The EU Commission’s goal is to “access encrypted data in a lawful manner, safeguarding cybersecurity and fundamental rights.” Read the full release from the Commission here: https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX%3A52025PC0148

@publicvoit Wow, man, dark

Can't say that I'm not also getting a tiny tingle when it looks as if the EU is getting their collective shit together. Not sure I'd happily welcome the complete transformation of the US into a crypto-fascist state (with nukes) along the way, but that boat seems to have set sail and raised anchor, and is trying to claw its way out of the shallows of US democracy (such as it was), only impeded by the incompetence of their masters and commanders.

... not that I can do anything about that anyway, so okay, let's accept the US as collateral damage. This still assumes that we will get our collective shit together, and not go all #chatcontrol.
