Time for a new #introduction post.
Hiya. 
I'm Dreadful Sanity aka Mel, a level 47 gamer from Germany. #Videogames keep me basically from going completely crazy and therefore alive. I'm #disabled, suffering from debilitating #migraines most days of the week. I also have #ADHD which means my brain is usually going all over the place. And last but not least, there is some #BPD mixed into the mess that I am. Beware of that.

If you follow me you know I play a lot of Dragon Age Origins. I'm always on my final, final campaign, definitely the last one 
While I have now started BG3, and am thoroughly enjoying it, it's reserved for the daylight hours, so I am still sneaking in an hour or two of DAO on those evenings when I have enough spoons available and still enjoying it thoroughly. So, I thought I'd start a wee thread on the mods I am personally using with DAO in case anyone was interested, only the thread became so long I decided to create a blog post on my website instead

Stop asking why the PC in #DragonAge #TheVeilguard is called Rook. Please. Just put your listening ears on when playing the game.
Lol... it's kinda funny how suddenly more and more people come out of the woodwork claiming that "they fell for the hate train, but decided to try it out, since it's on some game pass this month (PS? XBOX? Idk) and it isn't a bad game.
Does it have issues? Yes. But not as much as people make it out to be. Some just want to see things burn, I guess.
If I have to read one more time why "the darkspawn in DAV look different" I might lose it. Did those people put their braincells into a cupboard before playing the game? Not reading ANYTHING AT ALL?
I mean, sure, the design can be discussed, though imho the Darkspawn in DA2 were the worst of the series. But the why is pretty obvious. Pretty sure it is even commented on by your band of misfits in one of the Solas memories.
But if you need a reminder:
Darkspawn that reproduce via Broodmothers: 2nd gen darkspawn created without the "gentle" hand of Ghilan'nain.
Darkspawn in DAV are first gen created by the "gentle" hand of Ghilan'nain.
Yeah, they look goofy at times. And I miss the genlock. But it's not a mystery.
