It's this little lady's Gotcha Day! It's been 10 years since we adopted her from the Annex Cat Rescue here in Toronto. She comes from a feral colony and her litter of kittens were taken into care during the giant ice storm back in 2013. #cats #GotchaDay #blackcat

Oh dear Badger appears to love my feet as much as Mr Kitty did.

Wait, no. He is yet to lick my footwear.

Badger, my new rescue “tuxedo cat”, is lying at the end of the spare bed next to my bare (from knee down) legs and feet.

He is in a half-roll, which makes him comfortable. His face is adorable with a distinctive white marking, resembling an inverted triangle or arrow shape that starts between the eyes and extends down over the nose. This gives Badger a unique and charming appearance.

Badger, my new rescue “tuxedo cat”, is lying at the end of the spare bed next to my bare (from knee down) legs and feet.

He now rests his head gently on my right foot and looks very comfortable. His face is adorable, and his distinctive white marking, resembling an inverted triangle or arrow shape that starts between the eyes and extends down over the nose, gives Badger a unique and charming appearance.

OK. So he hid for some time. Put out some wet food, he was straight there. Then to cuddles, skritches and hide again.

Probably should listen to this whilst viewing Badger’s photos.

I'll have cute pictures later, but right now here it's not just #Caturday, but it's also #PartManxFreyja's #GotchaDay! It was today back in 2017 when I took in Freyja from her previous catdad, who had two other cats and had to give up Freyja. She was a juvenile back then, and she spent half of the 45-minute car ride sleeping and the other half just sitting quietly, both in her carrier. When I got to my apartment she started exploring immediately. It was like she wanted to be with me.
