We lost our server yesterday morning and we've all been trying to get back online ever since. That was your break, services are slowly being restored, it takes forever to send one reply but we're back!

There is slab ice everywhere. The gas pumps are melted, but their parking lots slide into the roadway. where people walk, because there's slabs of ice on the sidewalks.

Missed lane in #Bedford froze as ruts.
Mountains of slush froze our 3 drains.
If we get rain now, we're doomed.

Before the temperature drops and it becomes permanent.

I have an ice breaker. It uses muscles not used in shovelling. I'm snower getting started on it this morning, a little stiff.

I was doing other stuff, lost a few hours without finishing my first coffee.

I've been photo sorting & making notes of the 2024 collection. I'm never done, but it's time to do a backup soon.. just in case I lose my work.

When it's daylight, I have to break some ice up in the driveway in anticipation of more *yuck* conditions coming today!

I was almost born near here. It was close.

Dawn over the ocean. The sky is mirrored on the smooth ocean surface. Across the harbour, the horizon is a black treeline, only the sky has light, long before sunrise. The clouds are streaks of orange over blue pre-dawn sky. There's nothing else visible in the early morning but scattered spruce trees in the foreground. It's extremely peaceful and refreshing. I'm going to cover my windshield before I get distracted online. Dodge vans don't met the windshield or get warm enough until they drive somewhere but form ice where the snow slides down and refreezes, plugging air intake and fusing wipers forever. I have a Frost Buster (can't find) so I'm put heavy plastic on the windshield and I forgot last night

Nobody seemed awake in the wee hours I woke, so I waited.

Got 2 new Peach Trees today, they just broke the soil.
I think I'm up to 5 now? And 1 cherry tree started. What I really want, is my Magnolia to sprout. It's been about 70 days now
