It was over 34-fucking-degrees Celsius in Inuvik this week.
That's insane.
For those unfamiliar with Canadian geography, Inuvik is 200km from the Arctic Circle. (And that's 200km *north* of it.)
(If you've watched *The Terror* season 1, it's the same latitude as where they get stuck.)
Inuvik summer temps are typically in the teens.
10 years ago the high for August was around 20 °C, although it did hit 25 °C in August 1974.
#Inuvik is located 200km North of the Arctic Circle. Today it hit 93.2°F. This all time record high temperate was made 5X more likely because of the #ClimateCrisis.
