Thank you so much to everyone who attended the opening for my Subdued Dudes art reception last Friday! I feel like I’ve done nothing but paint for the last year, and it made me incredibly happy to share my work with you!

Here’s a sneak peek of my artwork at No. 7 in Vermillion. I owe a huge thank you to my wonderful husband Aaron C Packard for not only modeling in some of the paintings but also helping transport these wily beasts. Somebody* should buy this man a drink after the art reception today from 5-7!

*By “somebody,” I mean me, but you’re welcome to join us afterwords!

I’m absolutely pleased with the article Angela George wrote about me for the Argus Leader titled, “How to see the 'brodalisque' paintings from South Dakota's first-ever Pollock grant winner.” She provides information about the Pollock-Krasner Foundation along with explaining the work I did to complete my grant project.

Eek! I’m getting ready to debut the paintings I made with the Pollock-Krasner Foundation grant. I hope to see you at the opening reception on March 28th at No. 7 Center in Vermillion!

I’ve been spending too much time with my bros lately! Anyway, I hope to see you at my Final Friday art reception at No. 7 Center in Vermillion, South Dakota on March 28th from 5-7 pm.

Wouldn’t this tiny bro look great hanging on your wall? You can bid on my art in the online auction supporting the Transformation Project Advocacy Network. This is a miniature reproduction print of my painting titled Brodalisque Reclining in the Garage. It’s enclosed in an ostentatious faux-gold frame that I built as a joke to reference over-the-top presentations of classic figure paintings. Bidding closes March 7th.
