Here's an interesting #DataViz of where each #chess piece is most likely to be captured. I think the bishops make the prettiest pattern, and the differences between king-side and queen-side pieces are interesting. I can't see any huge differences between black and white pieces. Maybe the king pawns have the biggest difference, meaning white is more likely to attack first when exchanging pawns.
