“There’s no place like Juneau.” • Canon t2i, 2014

Portions of Juneau, AK are inaccessible by car, as many boardwalks and tram lines fill the area for residents and tourists. When you roam there, you feel like no one else is on the planet. There is an aire for adventure in Alaska that I’ve never found anywhere else.

Good Morning, bonne journée, und haf schönen tag!

Today is #FlashbackFriday 1977:
That time I saw #Gibraltar, but never got ashore.

Heading to Cadiz, we stopped here.

You can tell by the quality of the photo, just how much we'd advanced 😆, from Polaroids with Hand-Waving days?

Pixs had to be sent home to develop (weeks); 10 ports but only 300 photos taken! It was 1977 #FBF (pre-digi)

The resolution stated, “We will no longer insist on a label of sickness for individuals who insist that they are well and demonstrate no generalized impairment in social effectiveness.” The statement continued to say the APA supports “civil rights legislation at local, state, and Federal levels that would insure homosexual citizens the same protections now guaranteed to others.”

‘Baby’ is the #FortnightFridayMusic word tonight and from thousands of possibilities I’ve chosen a Jenny Morris song “Little Little” that doesn’t even mention the word. Written during her pregnancy with son Hugh it describes her love for the baby in her womb

Artist: Jenny Morris
Album: Shiver
Released: 1989
Live clip: youtu.be/EZ7OCTU9HLU

I first saw Jenny in a Kiwi band the Wide Mouthed Frogs back in 1979 when they first came on the scene (audioculture.co.nz/profile/wid). They played at the local Ben Burn Park in Karori and that was the start of my Jenny Morris crush. Last saw her at Hillary’s Perth in the mid 90’s, but unfortunately her voice was affected by spasmodic dysphonia that saw the end to her singing career post 2005

The #documentary film that I'm featured in is now available for #free viewing:
m.youtube.com/watch?v=Rb4q_dXo

It includes footage & shared #deforestation issues with the #Amazon. It's all connected.

I'm holding back tears near the end of it. I was arrested a few days after doing the documentary film interview at gate to River & Landback resistance camps.
