La luce del mattino si riflette sulle ali dorate di questo cardinale venerosse, Sympetrum fonscolombii.

Delicatamente sono riuscito ad avvicinarmi un poco alla volta per poter fotografare a dovere questo esemplare, le libellelule sono decisamente sfuggenti!

It was extremely difficult getting focus on this dragonfly, as it was zipping around a pond and hovered still about 0.5 seconds at the most.

Had a lot of fun creating La Petite Libellule, which translated from the French language means “The Little Dragonfly.” It’s a vintage collage image of a single dragonfly and hydrangea clusters with leaves on a square, antique textured background.
