You may have already seen this techno-nationalism (and #crypto grifting). This ends in a totalitarian state where neighbour spies on neighbour, no one trusts anybody. In nazi Germany the Hitler youth reported on their parents. In communist states, family members did the same thing. Your mother, your brother, will report you for unamerican ideology. America is only a few steps from normalising this and after that it's very difficult to get back.
