Birch wood spirit. Branch was a bit dry and tough, and I've been out of action so my hands are feeling weaker than they were when I was doing one of these a day, but it came out really nice.

Just finished sanding and oiling this wood spirit in the rain. While I was making it I was talking to him/myself and the voice that replied sounded like David Thewlis. Statement proboscis from a well placed twig .
