The Royal Research Ship Discovery was launched in Dundee 124 years ago today on 21 March 1901, before taking Robert Falcon Scott on his first Antarctic expedition in August that year. It wasn't always gorgeous weather during our stay around the East Neuk of Fife. When it was more gloomy, we headed to Dundee to check the city out.

In particular, the V&A Dundee Museum of Design proved a totally fascinating subject
