Today's hike was another beautiful one. Unfortunately I had to turn around midway because it was too windy; I couldn't stand still because the gusts were too much. Sometimes I wonder if I wasn't alone I'd have completed many more routes. This "new-to-me" trail is now in my "someday trail" list.

I have a small collection of trails I call "Someday Trails." This one, behind Huntsman Cancer Institute in #SLC was one of them for a year now. Someday I will hike there, but not this time. It's not that it's a hard trail to do; I felt like I shouldn't be hiking when I'm there. But this visit, I brought my hiking boots, because I may never get another chance to visit.

Today's #hike was... muddy.
There were many icy patches on the trail, and I was hesitating whether to go further or not because it was downhill; I didn't want to fall on ice and mud. Then there came two men, in just sweaters and tennies, with Starbucks cups in hands, so casually. Am I too cautious? Maybe. Solo hike is great, but also has its drawbacks.
