There was a very loud student party just outside my window. Have to get up at 6:15 am tomorrow, so was a bit worried about getting enough sleep.
It's 22:04 now, and it has been borderline quiet outside for the last 2 minutes.
I guess they moved their party inside. How sweet! 
We had a great Python User Group meeting last Thursday. It was our first time at our new location Technolab, which worked out great!
Thanks to Jesse and John for the interesting talks, and thanks for all who attended! Next time we'll make sure there's a little more time for 'social' as well.

The cherry blossoms by the Wereldmuseum #Leiden were only half in bloom on Friday, so the wind didn’t harm them. Today, for the Hanami festival, they were glorious!
Shout-out to my colleagues from Leiden University, University of Applied Sciences Leiden, and mboRijnland, who are striking today in Leiden and The Hague.
They are protesting the announced budget cuts on higher education, and represent the start of a staggered Higher Education strike that will continue at least for the coming five weeks or so.
