I would like to publicly apologize for the years of eye rolling and impatience with flight attendants on how to use/open emergency doors, follow the illuminated lights along the floor, leave your seat belts on till the pane comes to a full stop and instructions to leave belongings and get the fuck out of planes. Given the last 3 months, with the latest plane fire in #denver you would have my full undivided attention. Not going to fly in the #usa tho #planes #flying #otttawa

"Those #bombs were only a test run, part of a larger operation to place explosives on cargo & passenger #planes bound for the #UnitedStates & #Canada...

Who was behind this plan that could have sent #airplanes crashing to the ground after exploding in flames?

It wasn’t al Qaeda, or ISIS, or Hezbollah, or any other designated #terrorist organization.

It was Russia."

#Supersonic #planes are inching toward takeoff. That could be a problem.
Boom estimates that one of its full-sized Overture jets will burn two to three times as much fuel per passenger as a subsonic plane’s first-class cabin. Compared to standard economy-class travel, first-class cabins tend to have larger seats with more space between them. Because there are fewer seats, more fuel is required per passenger, and therefore more #emissions are produced for each person.
