I believe this little hill between the two trees is a burrow/tumulus. Very fun to paint this sitting in the middle of the field.
Day 8 of PleinAirpril and I’m really enjoying capturing the blossoms just as they start blooming. The magnolia in the garden is just starting as well.
This combination of ink line sketch and gouache is also really growing on me

This month's community study is running parallel with Plein Airpril, so here is a scene in Mexico, taken from Mapcrunch. I enjoyed the departure (for me) into buildings, but of course snuck a few trees and dappled lighting in there too.
