"Kashmir" is a song by the English #rock band #LedZeppelin. Featured on their sixth studio album #PhysicalGraffiti (1975), it was written by #JimmyPage and #RobertPlant with contributions from #JohnBonham over a period of three years with lyrics dating to 1973. #JohnPaulJones was late arriving to the studio for the recording sessions, so did not receive a writer's credit. The song became a concert staple, performed by the band at almost every concert after its release.

Morning Dew

"Walk me out in the morning dew, my honey
Walk me out in the morning dew today
Can't walk you out in the morning dew, my honey
Can't walk you out in the morning dew at all

Thought I heard a young girl cry, mama
Thought I heard a young girl cry today
Oh, I didn't hear no young girl crying, mama, mama, mama
I didn't hear no young girl cry at all

Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh

Thought I heard a young boy crying
Thought I heard a young boy cry today
Oh, I did not hear no young boy crying
Oh, I did not hear no young boy crying

Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh

Now, there's no more morning dew
Now, there's no more morning dew
What they've been saying all these years was true
Now, there's no more morning dew

No, no, no, no more
No, no, no, no more
No more morning dew
Oh, no more morning dew"

Last night one of my oldest friends went to see #RobertPlant with #SavingGrace after I urged him to make the effort and go. We saw Robert Plant together a few times when we were students. He hasn't seen him since 1990, again with me.

Apparently they played this song, which has huge sentimental meaning for my mate. It was the 1st gig he'd been to since the pandemic, he's now absolutely buzzing!

Wish we didn't live at opposite ends of the country - memories.

4 years ago to this very day I fangirled #RobertPlant at Rhythm Tree Festival here on the Isle of Wight. I'd been housebound for the previous 3 weeks with labyrinthitis (vertigo) but nothing was keeping me away from this!
His set was the only one I managed, I literally arrived, walked to the front barrier, adored him and then left again.
My friend held me up all the way back to the car and I spent several more weeks recovering but gosh it was worth it! #ThrowbackThursday
