I found this picture of one of the showings of “House on Haunted Hill” where they used something called ~Emergo~ which was basically just a skeleton on some wire that would fly over the audience’s heads during the film

if you’d like to celebrate Edward G. Robinson’s birthday, John Ford’s THE WHOLE TOWN’S TALKING (1935) is on @primevideo.

Robinson plays his trademark gangster persona and lampoons it in the same movie. And Jean Arthur is brilliant. Absolute perfection.
