I used a Stihl electric chainsaw for a few hours yesterday and an hour on a petrol one. I reckon make the battery last 50% longer and 30% lighter and it’s game over for petrol ones. Super exciting, they’re so damn stinky.

I do wish Catl or someone would make a standard 36v battery unit that could be used in many devices - a chainsaw battery for instance would be great on a bike or scooter :)

A friend of mine told me about a visit to a lab where some scientists had been experimenting with cloning and whatnot, and they went into this area with a bunch of headless frogs lying on their backs attached to probes and wires. When asked what they were doing, the answer was one word - "practicing".

In a world where ChatGPT & AI is making it increasingly easy to write lengthy, eloquent - but often empty - paragraphs, I can't help but wonder if we'll start to increasingly value finely-tuned, succinct lists that prioritize information & discard the 'fluff'.
