"After 10 months in power, next week could show #Labour how much the reality of government can really hurt."

"#Reform might be the loudest group, but they're not the only one making life hard for the big boys. The #LibDems reckon with a good night they might control more councils than the #Tories this time next week."

"Lastly, but not least, the #Greens want to continue their steady march into council seats across England."

BBC NewsWill this be the 'anyone but the big parties' local election?"Slivers" of votes are set to decide the local elections - with the big parties likely to suffer.

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

In 2013, peers warned that sweeping benefit changes – from Universal Credit to PIP – would do the exact opposite of what the government claimed.

Lower work incentives, harsher sanctions, increased homelessness, and brutal treatment of disabled people were all predicted… and have come to pass.

Now, with Labour in power, the same machinery of misery is being switched on again. It's time to speak out.

Look at this, the day after the ruling, it all comes out.
The glee with which the State punishes us Queers with.....

I am afraid for my people, our rights are being taken away and most of you won't care, won't lift a finger to help

I don't see any politicians aside from the Greens offering us Queers support, the British Establishment is coming for us and few will stand in their way

Kemi Badenoch went on record to accuse Labour of "promoting Hamas propaganda in parliament". She will never be PM and if by sheer luck she ends up being so, she'll be less able than Lizz Truss.

Can somebody tell me why the working people of Britain disproportionately pay more - I mean what it is, why can’t corporations and billionaires pay their fare share? I get we are frightened they’ll all leave our shores, but others will take their place - I honestly don’t get it

Here’s an example from the #Guardian Live evening summary on the #SpringStatement:

“The #Labour party is the party” of work, #Reeves says. More than 1,000 people a day are qualifying for personal independence payments (Pip), Reeves says. “It is a waste of their potential and a waste of their futures.”

Hmmm…#Tories broke the #NHS and social care, and now Labour wonder why so many people need Pip…and if they take it away from them, that’ll get them into work. Completely unhinged and cruel.

Unless I misunderstood the phrases ‘leave means leave’, ‘Better off out’ etc. unless I misunderstood the point of Richard Tice when he founded the ‘leave means leave’ pro Brexit group ….. then not being part the EU & any of it’s institutions was what he wanted. Unless he’s full of shit of course

"‘No-One Voted for These Cruel Cuts"
bylinetimes.com/2025/03/19/no-

For me (and I am not #disabled and have no disabled family members), Labour's vicious cuts to #disability benefits are a violation that I can't align with.

I voted #Labour in the last election, and celebrated joyously when they kicked the vile Tories out. But it's increasingly apparent — with this, and with attacks on health workers — that they really are just #Tories With Red Ties.

Labour is dead. I'm voting #Green from now on.
