The concept of a "year and a day" study to convert to paganism was started by the Wiccans as a way for initiates to experience each holiday in the Wheel of the Year before becoming official. Now, many other pagans do the same thing to build experience with the lunar and solar cycles, either on their own or in a group.

I made this costume to cosplay Keyleth from Critical Role! The cloak is made from some sheer brown fabric that I turned into a base cloak and hand stitched 1100 leaves onto, and the corset was drafted from an 1860s pattern. It's embroidered with a mix of hand and machine embroidery and took 150 hours to make.

Consonants to outside, vowels to inside.
Consonant lines can have no vowel following them.
For a vowel not preceeded by a consonant, a null pointer line is added.
There is a null pointer for base vowels a, e, o
and another for derivative vowels u, w, i, y

My simple Imbolc candle decorated and consecrated on my sacred space in preparation for lighting tomorrow. The rune is Berkanan, the Birch, which signifies new beginnings. The cord represents the threads of wyrd with which the turning wheel of the seasons is inextricably bound.

This is my final list for whatever zone Central Alabama is in the year 2024, as well as the final garden design.

#MythologyMonday: `When princess Tuag was just fifteen, Manannán the Sea-God decided he would take her for himself. He sent his #druid, Ferdia, to steal her away from Tara. Ferdia disguised himself as a woman, and sang a sleeping spell over her, and thus managed to escape with her.
He carried her to the mouth of the River Bann, and set her down on the sand whilst he went to get a boat in which to take her to Manannán’s land. She was still sleeping.
