Here in Glasgow, we're meant to stand on the left of escalators and walk on the right. Why do people from London find this so odd (to the point some just don't believe we do it differently than they do)? What's the convention in other parts of the world? And does everyone Glasgow follow this rule?
Going Down - Woolwich
I love the Elizabeth line stations & how they differ from their London Underground counterparts. One of the most underrated, is Woolwich.
It has it's own unique charm & identity which makes it stand out from the other stations. I think it's quite beautiful

Escalators - Canary Wharf
This is very a popular landmark on the London Underground, so I thought it was finally time to capture photography of the powerful escalators at Canary Wharf. It's a very striking design.
My favourite escalators however are at Bermondsey Station.
Shiny Escalators - Paddington
I've only recently discovered these shiny futuristic looking escalators joining Paddington Elizabeth line to the London Underground station. I took this quick symmetrical composition, but will definitely visit it again as I love the design.

Watching Platforms - High Barnet
There's something I love about this simple night photography shot of a traveller standing on the stairs to get the best vantage point to see what 'end of the line' train to board at High Barnet London Underground. It seemed a good technique!
Stairs & Windows
The Victoria Line is great for photography & has decorative tiling at each stop. Tottenham Hale London Underground has the 'Ferry Across the River Lea' by Edward Bawden, 1968. I was surprised to also find the design above the stairs.
Empty Escalators - Bermondsey
Photography of probably one the most underrated escalators on the London Underground network. I love the architecture at Bermondsey tube station, and I totally adore the design here.
