The Metropolitan Museum of Art has revealed the dress code for its annual Met Gala: Suit up. This year's exhibition and event will focus on Black style in menswear, and other than Anna Wintour, the hosts and committee of the event will all be famous Black people, including Pharrell Williams, Lewis Hamilton, Colman Domingo, LeBron James, Simone Biles, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Dapper Dan. Okay quite late for me, I've been busy. But since she said it herself, this is what Lady Gaga would've worn to this year's #MetGala. It's called "the gimp of the garden", most likely a reference to the gimp suit, a BDSM kink. To me, this looks like she is alluding to the sexual kinks and fantasies of the rich in a true Gaga sense. It might also be a reference to her song G.U.Y. where she states that she is submissive in bed.

As expected, she did her assignment; she knew what the theme was about

That's all for now. If I see more looks I find interesting, I'll just put it in this thread. I must say, I'm quite a bit disappointed in this year's Met Gala because as usual very few people went with the dress code. And the stars that usually make this event remarkable are nowhere to be found. That said, outside of the theme, a lot of celebrities came with great outfits and concepts. This is still something that I'll be looking forward to next year. Cheers! #MetGala
