I, for one, am very happy to see this day arrive #today. Certainly, this old, achy body is. A day of resting and doin nothin is definitely in order.

Up to start my sipping to find a bright n sunny start to #myday
A bit on the cold side at 40deg. It's too cold for stepping outside to sit n sip n soak in it yet. But it's supposed to hit the mid 70s #today. So, sitting out n basking a bit may be in #myday yet today.

That is if the comfy couch releases me to tackle such a task.

Y'all have a terrific resting n relaxing #SofaSunday today.

I've been through so many traumatic events in my life that I can't even put them into words. 2020 was a dream year compared to 2023 and 2024. This year has been one of recovery in many ways.

A telling example is that this week, from Monday to Friday, was nearly perfect. I felt fine, and current events are going well, considering the circumstances. But on Friday, when I finally got off work and was supposed to relax, I fell into a deep mental pit. At 3am, I woke up in the midst of a pretty bad panic attack. My autonomic nervous system was in a state of shock.

Today, I feel somewhat baffled by all this. I know I can cope - and I will thrive. This too shall pass; it will just take time, perhaps months or years. This too makes me stronger.

I'm up to see a foggy but sunny start to my #Slackerday #today. A decent 42deg at my sipping start n heading for a sunny 65deg day today.

Woke up Kinda extra stiff n achy from over doin yesterday. I sorta lifted too much n strained some and hurt my chest. Hopefully, it's just muscle n not my heart. But gonna be cautious n sit n sip an extra bit lpnger n wait n see what #myday brings my way #today .

Anyways, I'm figuring it's gonna be no problem n effort to sit back n sip slowly in the morning sunshine and find nothing worth doing much of today. At least thems the plans.

Y'all have a great day being a little lazy, procrastinating a lot, and doin less working today.

Hey, y'all . Yup, I'm up and facing a very wet and cloudy Monday morning #today. They are saying #myday will be filled with more periods of rain. But looking at the bright side, it's at least gonna be cooler n more comfortable for my sitting n sipping, starting at 52deg right now and only heading a bit further up mid-50s today.

So, even though it is much too wet to do much working outside #today, at least I know I won't be "sweating it."

Nothing new n exciting planned nor any fun stuff expected today. Just the normal miserable Monday of household Honey-doins to attend to.
Eventually, after more coffee and sitting and staring out the window and such. ️

So, as I sit here n sip some and contemplate my doins for #myday, y'all try to have a decent day #today.

Good morning, y'all. I'm up n off to a bright n sunny start to my #Slackerday this Saturday.

It's a relatively cool 69deg starting #myday and one more promised n predicted day in the high 80s before rain and much cooler and more normal Spring wearher returns.

So, one more day of Bubba bare belly basking in the heat #today as my old body tries the adjust to it all for the summer weather soon returning.

I'm not sure what all that means for #myday #today. More sitting n sipping and soaking in some of this morning sunshine to start it off for sure. ️

Otherwise, the slacking off n procrastinating of this #Slackerday will unfold much on its own.

Y'all have a pleasant day doin' little to nothin today. But don't go over not doin it. There's still the loafing n sofa surfing of #SofaSunday to rest up for, too.

It may be just the Bubba belly talking or the "cold ones" callin. But, I sure have a hankering for a nice big bowl of popcorn to munch on.

The wife, seeing me struggling with my "Bubba body" day, has volunteered to roll the bin down to the curb for me. So, I suppose #myday of doin is fully done for #today.

So, decision time... popcorn now n dinner maybe, or just sit n sip n see what's dinner brings...

Sad to say, I'm sitting here by the fan in my Bubba impersonating outfit of shorts n socks n no shirt to cover the fat upper half. Even sipping on a "cold one," to comfort me through this heat. It's a Southern summer requirement thing, so sorta gotta do it.

Sadder still, it's not really all that hot n humid here #today. It's just that this old guy just isn't prepared to adjust so quickly to it.

Presently, it's just 84 degrees n heading north , with a strengthening breeze trying to fight off the rising heat outside.

It hasn't been all sitting n sipping, though. Got all my Thursday Honey-doins done ( except the bin move to the curb thing. That's due later in #myday ), and I even braved it all to get out n whack some weeds n kill off a battery worth n wet a t-shirt. So, the whole day isn't a complete waste of sitting n sipping in front of the fan.

Though, I suspect the rest of #myday will be dedicated to it.

Hey y'all Happy Thursday to ya.
Would you believe it's already over 70deg #today. Yup, it only dropped down to 69deg overnight and heading up near 90 degrees for #myday.

I tell ya, I'm not ready for any of this. It's way too early in the year to turn on the air conditioning. But man, waking up to such temperatures is causing me to think hard about it.

It's a really warm 75deg inside as it is. So, there's not much a brief relief in opening the windows, and then there's the pollen flowing thickly out there. So, it's a closed house, and the air filter running to keep my from coughing n sneezing my butt off again, kinda day #today.

At least the sun is breaking out from behind the early blanket of clouds to join me in my sitting n sipping. ️

I suppose that goes to show that there's always a bright side to every cloudy day. Y'all have fun finding yours #today.

A hot day in the 80s #today.
A windy n cloudy day is keeping me inside. I opened the windows earlier for the fresh air. But I'm kinda figuring that was a bad idea, with the air quality so bad.

It's hotter than "all get out," and the tree pollen is "thicker than thieves." So I've been coughing n sneezing my butt off, trying to see if there's some way I can direct it to shake away at this big belly rather than the backside.  

Got all the Honey-doins done kinda early so I wouldn't sweat all over the clean dishes.

Now, I'm sitting back to sneeze n sweat from the comfort of my comfy couch and preparimg to map a bit n dream about lunch.

Hope y'all are surviving #today a bit better than me and #myday.

Welp. I've found myself in a bit of a conundrum #today. The sun has reached that time in the season when it rises n shines too quickly above the roofline for a proper morning sitting n sipping in.

It's still too cold to step outside in the morning to bask in it, and the breeze is still uninvitingly cold, too, without a heavy shirt. Of course, that kind of defeats the whole sitting n basking bit.

I gave it the ol "college try" and yup, too cold n breezy this morning for this old geezer. So it was back to sitting n sipping in the shade.

Somehow, this sitting n sipping in the shade of the day just does have the "ring" to it that my morning basking in the sunshine does. Hopefully, it will soon be warm enough in my mornings to start #myday of sitting n sipping outside on the porch for my morning sun soakings.

Ah, well. The continuing trials n tribulations of this ol geezer and his sun soaking ..

Welp. The big bad storm didn't live up to the hype #today. At least not anywhere close to me.

They were saying high winds and falling trees n such stuff. So they actually canceled the schools to let the parents put up with their kids themselves.

No high blowing winds here. No tosseling tree or trash. Just some rumbling n distant lightning and some not-too-heavy rain wetting everything.

It even looks like it will be clearing soon. Maybe a little sun in #myday?

Welp. Enough for my weather reporting. There's still coffee to sip n Heather's hollering to take heed of. ️

Hey, y'all . Yup. It's Monday again already.

I'm not sure what to make of #myday #today. The heavy, nasty stormy weather predicted for overnight didn't materialize. Instead, it was a rather calm, foggy n cloudy night. Heck, even the temperature stayed at a shocking warm 67deg. The high today is only expected to be about 70.

Anyway, it's still calm n gloomy n cloudy and the weather people are telling us just to stand by, as the stuff is still coming, I guess. So, I suppose I should just sit back n sip my coffee and wait n see what #myday brings my way #today. ️

There's not much else in the works today anyway. Just the normal hustling and bustling every Monday brings. So, a bit of sitting n morning weather watching over coffee to get one properly motivated seems in order.

I'm up n sorta stiffly moving this sunny morning. I'm thinking it's from actually working a few muscles that haven't been too active for awhile. So, I'm not sure what this old body is gonna let me do #today.

It's a pleasant 47deg start to #myday here #today and heading into the 80s. Yeah, that hot already and no rain expected to dampen my trip with the bin #today.

I'm wondering if some "nine-to-fiver" somehow drew their attention away from me to have em saving their rain to mess with somebody else's plans. That seems to be their action plans as of late. Nice all week and rainy, stormy stuff for the weekends.

Not that I care, them being my slack off #Slackerday's and sofa surfing #SofaSunday's. But kinda feel sorry for those who actually wanna do something useful then.

Welp. Enough thinking about stuff so early before coffee ️. Y'all have a happy Thursday.

Good Monday morning, y'all.
I really didn't wanna get outa bed #today. Not only is it a gloomy, cloudy n wet start to #myday from raining all night and often really hard n noisily, but had the horrible n persistent though that I did my taxes all wrong.

So, the first thing, even before coffee, was to take a quick check. Thankfully, it was just a bad dream or something, and I won't need to spend today redoing em.

Now that I'm up n awake, it's time to sit back, calm down, and get busy sipping. ️

I sure hope y'all had a less stressful start to your day and that stressing less continues throughout your day.
I'm sure am hoping for that for me.

Good #Slackerday Saturday morning, y'all

Ya know what's the best thing about days like #today. Ya can sneak in a late snooze n sleep in, and nobody really cares.

Except maybe yourself for missing some morning sunshine and are a bit late for sitting n sipping in it. But then, there's nobody to tell ya you can't just sit n soak in it a bit longer n later into the day.

So starts #myday #today. Up n movin a little late, but soon enough to still sit n sip in the morning sunshine and slowly wake up to whatever is ahead. ️

It's gonna be a beautiful sunny day here #today. Temperatures hitting the mid-70s, too.

Hopefully, I'll find a good way to enjoy it all today. Hope y'all do too.

Off to a really slow start to #myday #today. Just can't seem to get myself up n motivated to tackle much of anything, despite the hollerings from Heather and her list of Honey-doins.

I blame it on the weather gods taking their sweet ol time warming things up around here this morning. Here it is nearly 10AM, and it is barely breaking above 40deg.

The wife DID get me to do my few musta-doins, though. The bin getting n plant uncovering n moving em into the sunshine n such. So, at least one of em is happy I'm listening to em.

But, I'm thinking that after all that humpin n haulin and groaning n moving, it's time for some more sitting n sipping. ️

Soon, the sun should warm things up enough to venture out for a bit of a sit in the sunshine. So, I best get busy finishing this elongated morning session of sitting back n coffee sipping. ️

Hey all. Happy #TGIF to ya.

Welp. The weather lived up to expectations this morning. It's a cold and frosty 30deg start to #myday #today. The weather gods clearly proclaiming and demonstrating that it is THEY who determine when springtime arrives, not some stupid date on somebody's stupid calendar.

At least it's a sunny start #today. Good news for my morning sitting n sipping session.
And the dusting of white on the growing grass is kinda pretty in the rising sunshine.

There's not much planned for my day today. Mostly catching up on a few stray Honey-doins and playing "plant mover," putting all our growing garden goodies back outside, once the sun warm things up around here.

Then, who knows. Probably grabbing another cup n more sitting n sipping. ️
