Hello everyone! I have had my account restored after admins of this server recognised the ban was not legit. I believe this ban may have stemmed from my calling out @protonprivacy regarding their misrepresentation/false (misleading) advertising of their services. I am not 100% certain, but within only maybe a week I am seeing a lot of peculiar activity on Mastodon involving "possible" corruption (I say possible because I cannot prove it beyond a reasonable doubt, but in one instance it speaks for itself regarding a dev who allegedly stole money from Haveno project and ran off.)
I want to say thanks to the admins for doing the right thing and restoring this account! I appreciate you, but as a precaution I will likely be using other servers until I self host again because of the suspicious circumstances and the nature of one of the things I do as a hobby (investigative journalism.)

@saustrup @jippi the fact of the matter is this is not the only thing I have encountered possibly (and I will say "possibly" for the sake of politeness as I cannot PROVE either Proton's or this dev's guilt though everything indicates it exists) corrupt. This is interesting to me and means there is likely a LOT more "weeding out" to be done here based on what I have found in a matter of a few days alone.....
