Sitting here looking through pictures Jessica took while she was in front for most of 2024.

She is definitely the holder of this system's light and love.

She is also more than obsessed with Buddy, to the point I know she lost sight of the difference of his projection (apparently such projection is not common with trauma #DID systems, but I do understand why this had to be) and his place in our brain like the rest of us.

Anyway, Buddy could definitely lead a cult.

Lethe: and while this system yammers about #DID a lot, it’s not out of fetish for diagnoses, though it is ours, it’s because while there may be commonalities, life as a, specifically, traumagenic system has challenges and horrors that are not necessarily shared with other types of systems and we wish only to speak with that understanding.

An obvious one for me is the differences in pain perception since I experience chronic pain. Sometimes I don't feel much of anything, sometimes I only feel pressure, other times I feel everything.

Sometimes it feels like my vision improves and I can read the smaller text on my monitor perfectly well. Things seem brighter too. Preferences aside, I feel like I perceive music differently too. The same treble can sound either sweet or grating.
