⚽ #DidYouKnow that #soccer in #Australia is at least 150 years old this year!

An early match took place at the #Woogaroo Lunatic Asylum in suburban #Brisbane, on 7 August #1875, when a team of inmates and wards men from the asylum played against the visiting Brisbane Australian rules football club.

Pinball machines are full of easter eggs, especially in the graphics department, but there's plenty of software surprises too.

Several Williams games from mid-90s feature a secret mode that starts if you have a game running when the clock hits midnight. Each game has some kind of a callout for when it starts and the mode itself has even more easter eggs in the graphics.

Out of my own games Who Dunnit and NBA FastBreak have it.

North Carolina! #DidYouKnow that there's someone who is in charge of making sure you don't get cheated at the grocery store? That's the Commissioner of Agriculture!

I'm running to make sure that we keep the playing field level for you, for our farmers, and for everyone in NC. 🍎🌽🛒

Gabon is home to a series of natural 'fossilized' rainforests in Lopé National Park.

These areas feature unique savannah-forest mosaics, believed to be remnants of rainforests that existed during the last Ice Age.

While most of Central Africa was covered in dense rainforest, climatic changes caused parts of Gabon to turn into savannahs, creating this unusual landscape that still exists today.

"Dude, I'm telling you! There's like this intricate maze of levers and pulleys between the flipper button and flipper!"

Like with all pinball tech, I've heard some really fun takes on what's actually between the flipper button and the flipper itself moving on the playfield.

This is a recut of last summer's video, now with up to 4.94% more production values. Maybe.

#DidYouKnow that Bottom was originally meant to be called 'My Bottom' because Rik and Ade wanted the continuity announcers to have to say "coming up next on BBC2 - My Bottom" and for people to ask each other "did you see My Bottom last night?"

I love them.

(I am listening to Ade's autobiography at the moment and it's great)
