Glasgow's titanium-clad Imax Cinema, part of the Glasgow Science Centre, looking rather like a giant egg laid by some massive mechanical bird. Designed by Building Design Partnership (BDP), it was opened in 1999.

The Glasgow Science Centre complex on Pacific Quay. It is just me, or does something seem a little inappropriate about it when seen from this angle?
Good morning, Glasgow from a frozen Bingham's Pond, with the buildings of Gartnavel General Hospital reflected in the ice as the sun rises behind it. It might be cold, but it looks like it'll be another beautiful winter's day.
Glasgow new and old: The modern Crowne Plaza Hotel at the Scottish Events Campus on the banks of the Clyde, with the late 19th Century Gothic tower of Glasgow University in the background.
The Springburn Campus of Glasgow Kelvin College. Design by RMJM Architects, it was officially opened in 2009. It's certainly an unusual building!
In 2020, ownership was passed to the Kilmahew Educational Trust with the intention of eventually restoring it and bringing it back into use. However, as of today, here was little evidence that this work has begun.
Inside the former Saint Peter's Seminary in Cardross to the west of Glasgow. Designed by Gillespie, Kidd and Coia, and constructed in the 1960s, this A-listed building is considered of international importance. Despite this, it has lain abandoned since 1987 and is currently in a ruinous state.

Office day. To get enough exercise, I take the stairs to the 5th floor. Every time.
And what are you doing today?
1963 Space-Age Cityscape
This image depicts a futuristic city at night, as seen from an elevated perspective.
The scene is dominated by tall, modern buildings with curved lines and glass facades, giving it a sleek and advanced appearance.
There are large windows that reflect the city lights, and the architecture suggests a high-tech urban environment.
A prominent feature is a space station or satellite dish visible in the sky.
The color palette is rich, with warm tones for the buildings and cooler shades for the night sky, adding depth to the image.
There are no people visible, which enhances the focus on the architecture and the atmosphere of the city.

This one will not be to everyone's taste, but I kind of like this building on Glassford Street in Glasgow. It's quite reminiscent of Gillespie, Kidd and Coia's 1970 BOAC building on nearby Buchanan Street.
