The first bill heard in this committee today was the one that would give doctors the right to conscientiously object to providing birth control, sterilizing procedures, a hysterectomy, or an abortion.

I had to stop watching it partly because I had to go to an appointment but it was really pissing me off we didn’t hear any of these concerns when they were having a hearing to see about getting Medicaid to stop covering circumcisions that aren’t medically necessary or religious based.

This is an attack on women’s healthcare. One of the healthcare providers who testified against the bill called it a right to discriminate, and she’s right. Nobody’s trying to force a doctor to provide services they don’t provide, we’re just saying that if they would give a tubal ligation to me if I already have three kids they should give me one if I have zero children because I don’t want children.

Now that #TikTok has come back, if you think people in NH should have the ability to choose medical care to treat a disease even if it would affect their fertility, please follow this page

tiktok.com/t/ZT2esWc1Y/

Please don’t be deterred by the phrase “medical freedom”, it has nothing to do with anti-VAX.

I would tell you that you shouldn’t associate the yellow with the libertarian’s because that was unintentional, and it was, but I’m pretty sure one of the cosponsors is a libertarian and we get more support from him than we do Lucy F-ing Weber (D)

My undiagnosed vitamin D deficiency caused me to have #migraines for years. If only I had known that taking a simple vitamin would have stopped them! It's amazing what can go wrong with our bodies without us realizing it. (For anyone else with migraines, it took me about three months of taking supplements before the migraines went away completely. Whenever I've left off the vitamins for a short while, they've come back.)

In my case, I'm very lactose-intolerant in an American cheese-loving and milk-loving culture, and I don't like dark green vegetables much, so I can guess why mine happened. I also have #PCOS, which would have added to it.

But I do think our society's tendency towards being indoors on computers or in front of TVs all the time is not helping with everyone's health.

As a woman with #PCOS and whose testoterone has been measured as 'elevated' because of it, I can't help but watch the #olympics drama and shake my damn head in rage.

Transphobes and TERFs attacking women that dont live up to their bizarre fucking standards put us ALL at risk! Their idiotic attacks on cis and trans folks are NOT feminist and are NOT "for the safety of women".

It is simply so that they can police our appearence and behaviour to fit their traditional ideas of what a woman is supposed to be.

Fuck them.

Proudly non-binary. Proudly intersex-female (PCOS). Proudly pansexual. Proudly non-monogamous. Proudly neurodivergent (NVLD, ADD). Proudly African and Middle Eastern. Proudly Israeli. Proudly Jewish.

And my identity, to all of the different groups who try to erase me? Is proudly non-debatable! 🏳️‍🌈❤️🇮🇱

Also can't afford Ozempic for #PCOS and diabetes prevention, or Myfembree, or Nurtec, or albuterol #rescue inhaler and nebulizer solution. I spent my last dime on medication for my brain #injury - currently can't afford the muscle relaxant I need tizandine or my regular #Metformin. I can't even afford it with the savings cards. I am going to end up dead since I can't take all the meds my doctors want me to use. I don't have a rescue inhaler that is not expired. I give up. This is a sign of death

Nope. Read my reply again.

I have 3 siblings. Myself and 1 of them have tested. The other 2 do NOT have their medical data online, BECAUSE THEY DID NOT TEST.

My siblings do not have #PCOS. I do.

Two of my brothers are not lactose-intolerant. I am, and one brother is.

I'm a honey brunette, like one of my siblings. The others have dark black hair. Two of my brothers have gone bald a bit, one has not.

We all have different medication allergies, environmental allergies, body weight, lung health, etc.

Siblings have NO medical guarantee of genetic traits (even ethnicity) simply because one has something-- unless they are identical #twins. That's the ONLY time your claim applies. (Fraternal twins have no different odds of shared DNA than singleton siblings.)

FYI: My husband is an identical twin and did DNA test, so his brother's infor is online. (We asked him 1st before testing. He was happy to have a "free" DNA test done for him.)

The *holds nose* government is potentially doing something right by launching a survey for women in England only covering the reproductive system. Whether you've been pregnant or not, want to be or not, if you have first hand experience of female reproductive matters then why not add your views and experiences and express your preferences?

Friends, I need your help. My partner is suffering a sudden medical emergency - on top of chronic #endometriosis, #PCOS, and #LongCOVID, she's just been diagnosed with serious #thyroid and #kidney issues which have weakened her bones, and she's fractured her spine.

She's a #massage #therapist - her life is about healing other people, and now she needs that kind of help.

If you can help by donating, or even just sharing, I would appreciate it more than I can say.

#Introduction

Hi everyone 👋🏽 I'm Nora, from the Canary Islands (Spain)

I’m on an ongoing journey of self-development, currently exploring #fitness and #mentalhealth

I'm into #nutrition and #healthy #cooking, while striking a balance with not so healthy treats.

I have a passion for #traveling and learning about other cultures.

At the moment, the #USA culture has totally captivated me, and I’m absolutely hooked on #NewYork 🗽

Other interests: #minimalism #tattoos #mandalas #PCOS #feminism

I used to remove leg hair. I was very ashamed of it when it grew back and was shamed for it by people in my life. Due to my #PCOS, I have more androgens, hormones considered biologically masculine. But I learned to celebrate somewhat intersex aspects of my being, both in my personality and my body, with what doctors call 'access hair in women'. Now when men stare at me all I can think of is, I wonder if they feel immasculated somehow, or how funny their concept of #gender aesthetics is.

Fascinated by the recent discussion that #PCOS could be considered under the umbrella of #intersex.

PCOS has caused my most consistent issues with health and self-image (most hospitalisations and surgeries I've had relate to its complications). Taking #estrogen and androgen blockers throughout my life has usually kept me in better, happier form. Some of my PCOS-cuzzies are transmasc, and take T instead.

Humanity is truly a wondrous tapestry. prismreports.org/2022/10/26/pc

So now that I know I'm #Autistic I'm of course trying to do more research on it in order to understand myself better. (Not a lot of resources for adults who were newly diagnosed, I notice, it's mostly for parents of Autistic kids.) I found out #Autism & #depression tend to go hand in hand. Yet another thing that, like my #PCOS makes me wonder how different my life would be if I had been diagnosed younger.
