The #Blackforest #elk goes #PeakyBlinders.

Yeah, I finished the crazy project which is completely sewn by hand - including a warm polar fabric lining. (The only things I've sewn so far have been tablecloths and cushions and I waited 2 yrs for a part of my machine.) I used this: youtube.com/watch?v=rguHHZFR-k for the pattern.
All fabrics are recycled from old cloths (I still have enough for a waistcoat). @sewing

I like the #PeakyBlinders chic, it's becoming cold, and for a journalist it could be a must 🤭 I'm working on the last steps of my fully hand-made (without machine) #newsboyCap. I used this tutorial (one of the best forms, and it really works for the pattern).
I made it with fabric waste only and will show you the results later. I'll be able to sew the next ones on the repaired machine.

Gov. Ron DeSantis has drawn the ire of the team behind "Peaky Blinders," who denounced a video shared on his campaign's Twitter account. The video slammed Donald Trump for vowing to "protect our LGBTQ citizens" and included footage of Cillian Murphy's "Peaky Blinders" character. Murphy and the show's makers said the footage was used without permission, and that they "disapprove of the use of the content in this manner."

VarietyPeaky Blinders Slams Ron DeSantis Video With Cillian Murphy FootageBy Ethan Shanfeld

I've started watching #PeakyBlinders out of boredom, and so far, it's an absolute shitshow.

Tons of racist (and as of S2, antisemitic) stereotypes, tons of slurs (mostly for romani people), very little regard for the female characters, and I'm getting the distinct feeling this is gonna be another case of #BreakingBad where the protagonists' machismo and twisted idea of masculinity are so strongly not addressed or contextualised that the fanbase will probably worship them instead of seeing them as the bad guys.

Still giving S2 a shot because I have time to kill, but I don't think it's gonna get any better (I was told by a fan "if you don't like S1, you don't have to hold out hope it's gonna change").

Oh and a bunch of PTSD misrepresentation and shitting on mentally ill people.
