While the rest of the world sees the importance of distancing violent policing from social services, Alberta is going the exact opposite direction. They are doubling down on police raids against vulnerable populations, and forced "treatment" against their will. This is unconscionable. Alberta cities will soon be under a police state and social services will become even more inaccessible, with help for the needy being judged by UCP ideology.
