Es ist schon viele Jahre her, dass diese Kombination von rotem Mohn und blauem Rittersporn in einem Beet in meinem Garten geblüht hat. Inzwischen haben längst andere Blumen deren Platz eingenommen. Durch dieses Aquarellgemälde bleibt die Erinnerung erhalten.

Roter Mohn und blauer Rittersporn ist ein handgemaltes Aquarellgemälde im Querformat der Künstlerin Karen Kaspar. In einem Sommergarten blühen leuchtend rote Mohnblumen und tiefblaue Ritterspornblüten zusammen in einem Blumenbeet. Die roten Mohnblüten sind der Blickpunkt des Gemäldes. Ihre Leuchtkraft wird durch den kontrastierenden Hintergrund aus kühlen Blau- und Grüntönen noch betont. Das Bild ist in einem lockeren, fließenden Stil gemalt, was den Blüten ein Gefühl von Bewegung verleiht, als würden sie sich im Sommerwind wiegen.
