I've got screen captures of my exchanges with Elon Musk's goon squad but won't post them here just yet; maybe later. While I'm waiting for my other account to be fully restored I'll say here a few things I would have said there if I was able. I wanted to comment on Sophy #Ridge's new program, but to tell the truth I was so disgusted by all her guests that I had the sound turned off the entire hour. Recorded and may comment when I have time to watch the recording.

Just a little reminder ...

It was less than a month ago that #Farage was on #Ridge suggesting the UK needed a new political party led by, "Someone like Nick Griffin"

Nick Griffin led the ultra-racist British National Party #BNP, a party that, throughout the 1970s, did much to stir racial division.

#Atkins endeavours to justify the UK's appaling debt by saying on #Ridge that our gas supply is "exposed because it comes from the grid."

Now I am no expert, but I am fairly sure all country's gas supply comes from 'the grid'

Guto Harri says on #Ridge that "14 million people voted for Boris Johnson."

Funny, I thought you voted for your local MP.

How insulting.

#GuttoHarri says on #Ridge that Harriet Harman, the Labour chair of the Privileges Committee, has in some way influenced the outcome of the report.

Sophy reminds him that the majority are Conservative and he replies that there are often cross-currents of opinion in any one party.

Such cross currents, it seems that Harman cannot objectively hold.

Some facts:

It was a unanimous decision. EVERY Labour, Liberal and Tory member voted for #Johnson to be censured because he lied to Parliament.

#Shapps is skimming the edge of libel on #Ridge by saying, "Starmer defended Corbyn's Anti-semitism."

Sophy #Ridge's program lasted 90 minutes and I was riveted. If you live in the UK, like politics and missed it I hope you catch up. Sam Coates actually disappointed me in some of his take. But the pair of them are still my favorite 2 UK politics broadcasters across all radio and telly networks. Tweeted lots. When Mastodon gets more people here I'll focus on here instead.

Watching Sophy #Ridge interview Keir Starmer now, and I'm apprehensive. I'm glad I got my post about wanting to comment in real time on Mastodon. Obviously many agree. Mastodon users need to debate HOW to increase political debate here.

Sophy #Ridge of @SkyNewsBot is on in less than ten minutes. She's got an interview with Keir Starmer. I'll be watching that. In a perfect world I'd post most of my feedback/commentary on #Mastodon. But at this stage there's not enough UK citizens posting here about politics. So, regrettably, I will be prioritizing the other place at the moment. We need to discuss how to get more politicized people onto this platform.

#Dowden is highly embarrassed on #Ridge as Sophie shows him the letter written by Sir David Clementi indicating that he, the minister responsible for the appointment of #RichardSharp acted outside the normal procedures of appointment.

The letter says ...

"“We were concerned about the very strong press reports that the Government, even before the job had been advertised, was in discussions with a preferred candidate, including a discussion about salary.”

Michael Gove has had three interviews today: Sophy #Ridge, #LauraKuenssberg #AndrewNeilShow. Only way the Tories can ensure their spokespersons don't contradict each other; only allow one Tory bastard to be interviewed.

While Sophy #Ridge was excellent in questioning Jeremy Hunt, the same can't be said about her interview with Rachel Reeves. Liz Bates won't explain what she should have done, but if Sam Coates was her colleague today he'd have exposed her gibberish.. Most of the British establishment know the Tories are imploding and they now want to nurture Keir Starmer's MPs as a safe alternative. I expected better of Sophy Ridge. Very disappointed. She's usually as good as Sam when it comes to Starmer's MPs.
