@dangoodin The only vehicles I hear that outclasses the #Tesla sometimes is the #Rivian. #MKBHD has spoken very highly over them in his AutoFocus channel. If you like traditional vehicles, a #PHEV wouldn't be a terrible choice either. But generally the #Tesla is a pretty safe bet, which makes sense considering that it's become the normie #EV car.

Well, I'm no longer a Tesla owner.
Monday I picked up my new Rivian R1S Dual Max Performance from their delivery center in Chelsea, MA and took it straight to Q Car Care in Burlington, MA for additional window tinting, paint protection film, ceramic coating, and protection film on the windshield.
I think they did great work and it looks awesome. Gabrielle at Q was great to work with and he really helped me pick just the packages that I was looking for.
I'm still learning all the features, but it's definitely a step up from my 2016 Model X.

The EV company is planning a showroom in the Knox District at 3010 Knox St. The site project will cover about 4,000 Sq Ft & is valued at nearly $2 million.
Rivian has more than a dozen sites, which it calls “Spaces,” that showcase its vehicles. It has just one in Texas with Austin, the same city where rival Elon Musk’s Tesla is based.

I’m increasingly tempted to take a financial bath and sell our Model Y for a #Rivian R1S or R2S when they come out.
I pre-ordered a #Rivian R1 years ago, assuming I’d need a truck (or be rich) by the time they shipped in Canada. Neither has happened, and I don’t think my wife would just let me buy one for fun (we both work at home now). My preorder gives me quite a discount on the current MSRP I believe. Anyone I know (in Canada) looking to buy one? Or should I just buy it and drive for Uber to cover the cost?

A street leaving our neighborhood had a feature that was incorrectly identified as a roundabout (probably because it was easier to map/draw that way). Which was annoying as navigation would say “take the second right” every time I drove out of the neighborhood. (1/2)
