SUVs and the newer generations of pickups here in the UK infuriate me so much. When they inevitably can't find parking space, they'll park on the pavement, blocking access for everyone.
That extra width makes them overtaking cyclists dangerous too.
And they're always clean. "Oh but I need it for work." Says the man who's never driven it through mud, country lane or building site.

In dem von Dir zitierten Artikel steht auch #SUV. Mir ist es aber egal. Wir können das Ding auch einfach „zu große Kiste“ nennen.
@SheDrivesMobility Hab' angefangen, #Falschparker anzuzeigen. Im fließenden Verkehr kann man ja selbst mit Beweisen dank #FahrerNichtGesehen, #Autozei und #Autojustiz nix machen, im ruhenden sieht das anders aus. Derzeit beschränke ich mich auf Behinderungen, Gefahrstellen und #SUV, denn sonst würde ich einfach nicht mehr fertig. Ich will erreichen, dass die selbstverständliche Behinderung oder Gefährdung vor allem schwächerer Verkehrsteilnehmender nicht mehr automatisch eingeplant wird.
Nachdem mich #ScheißRadfahrer im November auf einer Landstraße einer abzudrängen versucht hat, weil er offenbar fand, ich müsse auf dem knöcheltief mit nassem Laub bedeckten Fußweg fahren, fahre ich auch mit Kamera, um im Zweifel auch hier schwere Verstöße anzeigen zu können.
Und wenn eine Freundin mir erzählt, wie ein Typ im Familientransporter ihren Kinderanhänger zu rammen versucht, weil er gerne gehabt hätte, dass sie auf dem für sie nicht nutzbaren benutzungspflichtigen #Radweg fährt, zieht mich das auch wochenlang runter. Keine Ahnung, wie man mit sowas umgeht.

=> für mich zutreffend der Begriff #Klimakatastrophe. So schlimm es auch klingt, es entspricht der Realität. Für mich ist der Begriff "Klimakrise" ein unangebrachter Euphemismus. In der Situation, in der wir uns befinden, ist es m. E. richtig und wichtig die Realität klar zu benennen und entsprechend zu handeln. Eine Beschönigung könnte die Notwendigkeit des Handelns herunterspielen.
So glauben viele Menschys, es sei nicht so wichtig #vegan zu leben, keine #Flugreisen mehr zu machen, wo es geht #Öffis zu benutzen, #zuFuß oder mit dem #Fahrrad unterwegs zu sein, statt in einem #SUV. und so fort. Bei einer #Katastrophe zählt aber alles, was geht.

Idee: #SUV nur noch mit Lkw-Führerschein. Erhoffter Outcome:
1. SUV verlieren Ruf als sportliches Lifestyle-Fahrzeug und gelten eher als Nutzfahrzeug.
2. Wohl nur wenige „sportliche“ Fahrer würden Kosten und Zeit dafür aufwenden.
3. Wer das für Hobby/Beruf braucht (Forst, Landwirtschaft, Bootsanhänger), könnte weiterhin solche Fahrzeuge mit dem entspr. Führerschein nutzen.
4. Entschärfung vieler Gefahren und Platzproblemen in Straßen und Parkräumen.
Idee darf gern geklaut werden …
