@GottaLaff Everything and everyone is for sale - as long as the is paid. Next step - people will have to pay to bring their kids to this - and allowed only if they are vetted by ICE first; it will be mandatory to be white, and boys will take precedence.
I guess that idea of paving over the rose garden will be hawked out for sponsorship by some other billionaire too.

That Nicole, aka Fediverse Chick, sure is persistent.
There must be some level of success, or surely they’d have given it up by now…
@JustFi . Soon everyone is going to be in Nicoles student association….
I have my DM’s set for followers only, so I’ve been spared, so far.

New #Blog post - My #scammer girlfriend: baiting a romance fraudster
Warning, this is a **long** post.
I decided to fall for a #RomanceFraud campaign so that I could see what #SocialEngineering techniques they used and what data _they_ leaked.
They spent 3 weeks building the storyline + relationship before eventually asking for money

Just had a phone call from somebody claiming to be "BT in Hertfordshire", claiming BT are going to be business only, and that we would need to change our broadband agreement.
I rang off.
#BT send us letters about every tiny change in their terms and conditions. If this wasn't a #scammer trying to #scam us into switching to a rip off service, I would have had such a letter.
Take care, everyone, scammers are at it again!
Here we go giving a fucktonne of money to the Americans for nothing.

A story of two lessons for contemporary internet:
1) On the left a #scammer tries to approach me with some vague "get rich scam scheme". They did it (at first) in Swiss German, which is not an easy translate to target. => Knowledge of something proves nothing.
2) On the right we can see that said scammer is paying for #Telegram premium. => Ownership of something also proves nothing.
A friend of mine with severe #dementia possibly had their #iPhone and #iPad compromised by a #scammer. I've offered to do some basic #forensics on it, and ensure there is no rouge software, change passwords, etc.
I am not, however, an #apple person, so I'm not really sure what the best tools will be to do so.
Please, if you know of resources for tools and processes, please comment below! Please #boost for reach!

I think 30% of #MAGAs
are aware #Trump is a #scammer
but they vote for him anyway because they are #racist
The 70% of MAGAs are 'Karen' fanatical Neo #Nazi-#Facists
NO ONE ELSE votes for Trump.
NOT #Workers
NOT #Farmers
NOT #Women
NOT #Democrats
NOT (real) #Republicans
NOT #Liberals
NOT '#Undecided'
...
Trump has the lowest electoral support in #US HISTORY
but
Trump has
The 'Heritage Foundation' and LOTS of money from the 'super rich' who support Him
and 'they'...
they control EVERYTHING.
Apparently the lady on the other end of this cold call is upset because I wasted my time and also her time. Tragic.
She was very upset that I wouldn’t confirm the minor accident I’d had in the last two years (apparently) and the response “I guess if you’re calling me I must have had one” isn’t actually adequate.
Oh well, that’s two minutes “legal assistance” won’t be fucking with anyone else today #scammer
If you're gonna do crimes, maybe not admit to them on a podcast.
Hack and payback Instagram scammer gets nabbed after bragging about it on a podcast
Scammer much?
The fact that the profile picture appeared three times was already a dead giveaway, but I also did a reverse image search and found this person on hot.com.
Okay, I guess I get the _principle_ of scam calls - call someone from random numbers until you find some sucker willing to hear your pitch.
But what's the point of this _barrage_ of calls from random numbers that comes in waves? Just now I got calls from three different numbers within a span of two minutes or so!
Do they somehow think I'll respond to the third call after I had not reacted to the first two?
Really, what _is_ the psychology behind this process?

Me: Can you tell me anything to prove that you're really [Bank]?
Him: [*affable chuckle*] I don't know what you mean, ma'am. If you look up the number we're calling from, you'll see it's really us. We have a step-by-step process to go through, so if you could just answer the text, then we can proceed...
[Fifth red flag: I reset my password the normal way, through the website. Got a confirmation text, from the exact same number as the time I reset it in 2020. The "give us your username" text was *not* from that number.]
Me: I already confirmed my name and address. You have my phone number. Can you tell me something I haven't already confirmed for you? What's the number on *any* of my accounts? What's the current balance?
....And then he hung up.
Bullet dodged! But, to his credit, he was persuasive enough to string me along for almost 13 minutes of phone time before I stumped him. Be careful out there, folks.
