@markmccaughrean This is great news! My PhD work partially used data collected by an instrument on Ulysses. Was really remarkable to have a satellite flying over the poles of the sun...can't wait to see these new images!

#GOESU, which will be renamed #GOES19 once it reaches orbit, will capture these same critical #weather observations as its predecessors, eventually replacing an existing weather #satellite overseeing the #AtlanticOcean, Central, South & North #America.

We're part of a flare observation campaign with the Foxi 4 rocket
