A while ago I discovered someone made an e-ink Portal-inspired calendar. Well last week I finally caved, and bought all the parts to make my own!

This was my first foray into using an ESP32 (as well as soldering) so all things considered, I'm happy that it's running at all given my lack of skills in the areas.

I've finally played Portal 2. It's aged really well, apart from all the loading screens. Glad I caught up with it 😊

I’ve been playing since the original NES days, but really fell in love with video games when I first encountered the original #MortalKombat in the arcade.

I’m a bit of a generalist, and my recent games have been #portal2, #doom2016, #TheStickOfTruth, and replaying #Myst and #Riven for the first time in 20 years. I’m currently working my way through #prey2017 for the first time and really digging it

- gender: i've given up on labels. kinda masc they/them who'd wear thigh highs if you offered me a pair. still cis tho
- i am probably #NeuroDivergent in some form, undiagnosed though
- i am terminally online yet socially anxious which is why i hide my identity behind an obscure tumblr meme
- i've been on fedi since june 2018 under my real name but posted rarely
- i like lists

- i am currently attempting to learn japanese. this may be outdated by the time you read it because i tend to abandon a lot of stuff i start
- aside from that i can speak english (i hope) and turkish (which i generally avoid because Turkish People On The Internet tend to have A Vibe)

- i #SelfHost only because its cheaper than individually paying for email and a VPN and i get a 7/24 linux machine to fuck around in
- i occasionally do #programming if i have to or get a fun idea
- i can do uhhh #rust and #python alongside the #WebDev trio of HTML, CSS and TS (preferred framework of the day: #SvelteJS)

- i occasionally do #gaming as well
- i am theoretically capable of beating #portal2 (no SLA) in 1 hour and 30 minutes which isn't very impressive if you actually know portal 2 #SpeedRunning

- i have only watched 3 (and a bit) animes ever. some of them were even ok
